Wouldn't it be great if there were more places where we could satisfy our addiction to Quest3D?

A place to meet other members of the community and chat with them about Quest3D and related topics like 3D graphics, hardware and programming. I don't know about you, but I certainly enjoyed meeting other people from the community at the Quest3D conferences (and of course the cocktails in the fancy bar afterwards

).
Although it does not feature cocktails, would anybody be interested in an IRC channel where we could chat about anything related to Quest3D?
To see how much interest there is for such a channel, I opened a #quest3d channel on the freenode IRC-server, and I would like to invite everybody who is interested to join.
Instructions on how to join:
- Option 1: using an IRC Client
- install an IRC Client like mIRC.
- See here for an excellent introduction to mIRC.
- open irc://irc.freenode.net/#quest3d to connect to the server and join the channel
- if that doesn't work:
- connect to the freenode server using the gui, or by typing '/server freenode'.
- join channel #quest3d using the gui, or by typing '/join #quest3d'
- Option 2: using your browser
Hope to see you online!

EDIT1: added info on how to visit #quest3d in your browserEDIT2: added link to mIRC guide (Thanks Daan!) EDIT3: added link to page on how to customize the channel look/settings when you are using mibbit
